Welcome to Sulya Farmers Producer Company
A common platform for small and marginal farmers.
India is an agricultural country where most farmers are small and marginal farmers. They often face challenges in accessing modern agricultural technology, quality inputs, and fair prices for their produce.
The concept of Farmers Producer Companies was introduced by the Government of India in 2013 to address these challenges and empower farmers collectively. Sulya Farmers Producer Company is formed with support from the Watershed Development Department and guidance from AIC Nitte.
The company is located in Sullia Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka, and covers the Sullia Hobli area through the development and welfare of farmers in 21 Gram Panchayats.
